How to use Instagram Video Downloader
Copy an individual media link
Copy the direct link to the Instagram post containing the video. Use a /p/ post address rather than a profile or hashtag URL.
Paste and preview
Paste the link above and select Preview video. Check that the preview matches the intended media.
Save the file
Choose video, best available quality or MP3. Check your browser's Downloads list for the saved file.
Which link should I use?
A post address usually has the form https://www.instagram.com/p/SHORTCODE/. For /reel/ links, use the Reels guide. Profile and hashtag URLs do not identify a single video.
Limitations to check
A post can contain a photo, a video or several carousel slides. This interface returns one preview and does not offer a carousel slide picker. Do not assume it saves every slide. Private posts and content requiring a login can fail.
If the download fails
Open the post itself, confirm it contains video, and copy its direct link. A video available only within your account is not necessarily publicly accessible. If a carousel clip cannot be retrieved, ask its owner for that individual file.

Check the saved video
Open the file from your browser's Downloads list before requesting it again. If playback is silent, follow the downloaded video audio checks. To read its duration, dimensions and file size, use the local media checker; it does not upload your file or list its audio tracks.

Download only content you own or have permission to save, subject to applicable law and platform terms. Public access is not permission to reuse a work.
