About this tool
Instagram Stories often require account access and may expire. This form cannot promise anonymous Story viewing or a successful download of every public Story.
How to use Instagram Story Download Help
Copy the individual video link
Use the link pattern below, not a profile or collection address.
Paste and check the preview
Select Preview video and confirm that the preview matches the intended video.
Choose the output
Request video, best available quality or MP3. Check your browser's Downloads list for progress.
Check the Story link
An individual Story address can resemble https://www.instagram.com/stories/ACCOUNT/STORY_ID/. ACCOUNT and STORY_ID are placeholders. A profile URL, screenshot or old Story link does not guarantee an accessible media file.
What this form can and cannot do
The service can attempt retrieval of an accessible video link. It does not offer a Story archive browser, a still-image downloader or a way to bypass a private account. Never enter an Instagram password or session cookie into this form.
If access is required
Ask the owner for the original file or use your own account's available archive/export controls. A Story that has expired cannot be restored by retrying its link. We do not guarantee that source platforms keep activity anonymous. For persistent video posts, see Reels and Instagram videos.
Permission and service limits
Download only content you own or have permission to save, subject to applicable law and platform terms. Public access does not grant reuse rights. Preview requests are limited to 10 per minute and downloads to 5 per minute. See our Privacy Policy for logs, caches and temporary conversion files.
Frequently Asked Questions

Guides for this task
Use permitted sources only. Public visibility does not establish permission to save or reuse a file. We are not affiliated with the source platforms. Some processing uses temporary server files; see our Privacy Policy. See the YouTube tool for supported links, availability limits and official export options.
