About this tool

Use the address of an individual X or Twitter post containing video. A profile, search result or Spaces link is not a substitute for a video post URL.

How to use Twitter / X Video Downloader

Copy the individual video link

Use the link pattern below, not a profile or collection address.

Paste and check the preview

Select Preview video and confirm that the preview matches the intended video.

Choose the output

Request video, best available quality or MP3. Check your browser's Downloads list for progress.

Accepted post link pattern

A typical post address looks like https://x.com/ACCOUNT/status/POST_ID or https://twitter.com/ACCOUNT/status/POST_ID. Replace the placeholders with the real shared post link; do not paste an account homepage.

Animated media and multiple attachments

An animation presented as a GIF may be served as video. This form does not export a whole thread or offer an attachment picker. Inspect the preview to confirm which media item was selected before saving.

Access and download troubleshooting

Protected accounts, deleted posts, age restrictions and platform checks can prevent extraction. Do not repeatedly request a restricted post. When the source itself has no sound, MP3 conversion cannot create it. For related help see Reddit video and audio or contact support.

Permission and service limits

Download only content you own or have permission to save, subject to applicable law and platform terms. Public access does not grant reuse rights. Preview requests are limited to 10 per minute and downloads to 5 per minute. See our Privacy Policy for logs, caches and temporary conversion files.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this archive a complete X account?

No. The current form accepts one media link per request, not account or thread archives.

Why is the saved file not a GIF?

The underlying resource may be video. The buttons request video or MP3 audio; they do not perform GIF conversion.
