Which link should I use?

Copy the individual Spotlight share link, for example https://www.snapchat.com/spotlight/VIDEO_ID. A username or profile link is not enough to identify a clip.

Limitations to check

Only publicly accessible media can be requested. A link that has expired, been removed or requires account access may fail. Do not assume that saving content is anonymous or that the platform produces no activity signals.

If the download fails

Open the Spotlight link in a browser and check that it still refers to the intended clip. If no public video opens, request the original file from the sender or creator. Private messages cannot be used as a substitute for a public URL.
